This Christmas Tree Puff Pastry will be one of the appetizers that I will bring to the table on Christmas day, delicious, isn’t it? I chose as a filling what I had in the fridge at that moment, cooked ham and Parmesan, but nothing stops you from using a tuna or salmon mousse for example. Making this rustic Christmas cake is very simple, you will only need two rolls of puff pastry and a little manual skill and you’re done 😉 Then decorate it with currants and marjoram leaves as I did or with green olives and cherry tomatoes, just to recreate the balls of a fir tree. Have a nice day to those who pass by here.

How to make a Christmas Tree Puff Pastry
Unroll the puff pastry and place the cooked brosciutto in the center following the shape of a fir tree.
Cover with grated Parmesan, then place the other layer of puff pastry on top.
Apply light pressure and press the edges all the way around, then cut out the shape of a Christmas tree.
Now cut the two sides of the triangle into horizontal strips, leaving the trunk intact.
Twist each branch.
From the leftover puff pastry create a star to put on top of your tree. Then brush with egg white and cover with sesame seeds.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200° and cook for 20/25 minutes.
Let it cool, remove from the mold, decorate with currants and marjoram and bring to the table.
